Winemaking and Features:
Goldvine Red from Lantides is a powerful wine, perfectly vinified followed by 14 months aging in new oak barrels. A complex nose of pepper, cinnamon, cassis, blackberry, cherry and dried figs. The vanilla note subtly betrays the aging in new oak.
In the mouth one experiences a nice balance between acidity and soft tannins, forest fruits, coffee and cocoa. The moderate to long finish emphasizes the soft vanilla.
This wine keeps for at least another 6 to 7 years in good cellar conditions, and a complex evolution can be expected after a few years. For lovers of (soft) tannins, this wine is already perfect to drink.
